...BLIZZARD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON
AKST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Travel will be very 
  dangerous to impossible. Tree branches could fall as well. 
  Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with localized 
  amounts up to 7 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...Western Arctic Coast.

* WHEN...9 PM today to noon Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will 
  cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Significant 
  drifting of the snow is likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. The latest road

.TUESDAY...Snow. Blowing snow. Visibility one quarter mile or
less at times. Snow accumulation around 2 inches. Highs 8 to
19 above. East winds 25 to 40 mph.
