THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR BLOWING SNOW...AND WINDS IS NOW
IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AKST THIS EVENING. 

* BLOWING SNOW...REDUCING VISIBILITY TO 1/2 MILE OR LESS.

* WINDS...WEST WINDS TO 35 MPH.

* TIMING...BLOWING SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE THIS
  AFTERNOON. CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE IN THE LATE AFTERNOON AS
  WINDS AND SNOW DIMINISH.

* IMPACTS...VISIBILITY WILL BE GREATLY REDUCED AND SNOW WILL 
  ACCUMULATE INTO DRIFTS. WHITEOUT CONDITIONS MAY OCCUR. TRAVEL 
  AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WILL BE DIFFICULT.

FALLING THROUGH THE DAY. SOUTH WINDS 25 MPH GUSTING TO 40 MPH
BECOMING WEST LATE THIS MORNING.
