...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT AKST TONIGHT...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JUNEAU HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT AKST TONIGHT. 

* VISIBILITY...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS

* TIMING...FOG IS STARTING TO THICKEN UP AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON.
  GUSTAVUS IS ALREADY DOWN TO A HALF MILE AGAIN AND WHILE
  VISIBILITES ARE STILL UP IN JUNEAU THE CLOUD CEILING IS VERY LOW
  AND IT IS BRINGING LOWER VISIBILITES TO THE HIGHER ELEVATION
  AREAS IN DOWNTOWN JUNEAU AND DOUGLAS ISLAND. THE CLOUD CEILING IS
  EXPECTED TO LOWER THIS EVENING. FOG SHOULD START TO DIMINISH
  LATER THIS EVENING AS EFFECTS FROM THE NEXT FRONT START TO MOVE
  IN.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO VERY LOW VISIBILITY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

AN ADVISORY MEANS THAT DENSE FOG IS ALREADY OCCURRING OR
IMMINENT.

ALL TRAVEL SHOULD BE DONE WITH EXTREME CAUTION.
