ALASKA AND BROOKS RANGES. THE FAIRBANKS AIRPORT RECEIVED 2.24
INCHES OF RAIN BETWEEN NOON MONDAY AND 11 AM TUESDAY. THE 24 HOUR
PERIOD ENDING AT 11 AM TUESDAY IS THE WETTEST 24 HOUR PERIOD ON
RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER. THE PREVIOUS RECORD WAS 1.61
INCHES THAT FELL ON 15 SEPTEMBER 1925. THE 2.24 INCHES OF RAINFALL
