DURING THE MONTH OF JULY BETHEL WAS MAINLY UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF HIGH PRESSURE.
THERE WERE A SERIES OF LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS WITH THEIR ASSOCIATED FRONTS THAT
TRACK NORTHEASTWARD ALONG THE ALEUTIAN ISLAND AND INTO THE GULF OF ALASKA AND
CENTRAL ALASKA. WHEN THESE SYSTEMS REACHED CENTRAL ALASKA… SOUTHWESTERN ALASKA
WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE SYSTEMS BACKSIDE.

TEMPERATURES AND PRECIPITATION WERE AROUND NORMAL FOR JULY.
