WARM TEMPERATURES DURING THE MONTH MADE MARCH 3.3 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.
DAY TIME HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE 40S WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS
GENERALLY DIPPING INTO THE 30S AND UPPER 20S. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE
WAS ON THE 30TH WITH THE MERCURY TOPPING OUT AT 52 DEGREES. THE COLDEST
TEMPERATURE WAS ON THE 11TH WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED TO 20 DEGREES.
THIS WAS ALSO THE COLDEST DAY WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 24
DEGREES...WHICH WAS 9 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. 

RAIN WAS THE DOMINATE PRECIPITATION TYPE FALLING ON 22 DAYS OF THE MONTH
FOR A TOTAL OF 4.52 INCHES. THIS IS 0.74 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THE
HEAVIEST RAINFALL OCCURRED ON THE 5TH WHEN 0.70 INCHES FELL. THE 11TH
AND 12TH ALSO SAW PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS OF OVER HALF AN INCH.

SNOWFALL FOR THE MONTH TOTALED 9.9 INCHES...WHICH IS 1.7 INCHES BELOW
NORMAL. SNOW FELL ON 10 DAYS IN MARCH...WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL ON
THE 11TH WITH AN ACCUMULATION OF 7.3 INCHES. 

WEATHER ON THE 12TH WAS A WINTERY MIX WITH SNOW...ICE PELLETS...FREEZING
RAIN AND FOG BEING REPORTED. ICE PELLETS WERE ALSO REPORTED ON THE 13TH.
FOG WAS REPORTED 21 OF THE 31 DAYS OF MARCH...WITH VISIBILITY REDUCED TO
LESS THAN A QUARTER MILE ON THE 22ND AND 23RD.
