COLDER AND DRIER AIR WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHCENTRAL ON SATURDAY...AND
COMBINED WITH CLEARING SKIES...WILL PROMOTE RAPIDLY COOLING
TEMPERATURES SATURDAY NIGHT. MOST AREAS WILL REMAIN SAFELY ABOVE
FREEZING...BUT LOCALIZED LOW LYING LOCATIONS WILL BE PRONE TO
OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES DROPPING TO NEAR OR BELOW 32 DEGREES
BY SUNDAY MORNING. FAVORED LOCATIONS INCLUDE EAST ANCHORAGE NEAR
CAMPBELL CREEK...SOLDOTNA ON THE KENAI PENINSULA...AND THE MEADOW
LAKES AND BUTTE AREAS IN THE MAT-SU VALLEY.

INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD PROTECT SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS WHICH
MAY BE DAMAGED BY COLD TEMPERATURES. RECREATIONAL ENTHUSIASTS AND
