...BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION IN KOTZEBUE...

A COUPLE OF STORM SYSTEMS THE FIRST WEEK AND A HALF OF THE MONTH PROVIDED FOR A 
MAJORITY OF THE RAINFALL FOR THE MONTH. THE MAJORITY OF THE MONTH WAS DOMINATED 
BY HIGH PRESSURE ALLOWING FOR MOST OF THE SYSTEMS TO PASS TO THE SOUTH OF THE 
AREA. A COLD FRONT AT THE END OF THE MONTH PROVIDED THE REMAINDER OF THE 
PRECIPITATION FOR THE AREA. 

TEMPERATURES...THE AVERAGE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE TIED FOR 25TH COOLEST IN STATION 
HISTORY. THE AVERAGE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS JUST SLIGHTLY WARMER THAN NORMAL 
FOR THE MONTH. THE AVERAGE MONTHLY TEMPERATURE WAS SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL FOR THE 
MONTH.

PRECIPITATION...KOTZEBUE RECEIVED ONLY SIXTY SIX PERCENT OF THE NORMAL  RAINFALL 
FOR THE MONTH. THERE WERE NO DAILY RECORDS WERE BROKEN DURING THE MONTH. THERE 
WERE SIX DAYS IN THE MONTH IN WHICH.../0.05/... INCHES OF RAINFALL FELL WITH SIX 
OTHER DAYS DURING THE MONTH ONLY RECEIVING A TRACE OF RAINFALL.
